VPS Lakeshore Hospital is a multi super-specialty hospital located in Kochi, Kerala. It was registered as a public limited company in 1996 and began with its healthcare operations from 2003. It is managed by VPS Healthcare, and one of the largest tertiary care hospitals in the entire state. In addition to offering medical care, it conducts many post-graduate programs accredited by the Diplomate of National Board. Some of the value-added services offered here are 24-hour guest relations, option for advance payment for international patients before admission, customized cuisine at the hospital, internet and library, and payments accepted in foreign currency as well.
Some of the famous achievements of the hospital include the first pediatric bone marrow transplant, the first liver transplant, the first liver dialysis in Kerela, and the first insulin pump insertion in South India.
